Digital Expressions (2021- mid 2022) Part Three (360' GoPro Max experiments)

Purchasing a GoPro Max 360' camera was an impulse during my aim to find an affordable 3d scanning camera. I was blown away with how different the approach is from traditional photography concepts. With a 360 capture, one collects everything in their environment. Later, through editing programs, the image and perspective can be selected for presentation. Video captures in order to find more still images work great too. It's not quite as high resolution but they still yield a decent size. With stills selected from videos, it's like collecting the world around you in a sack, and the editing is like shaking it out, selecting the gems. The videos also make for a great tool for rotoscoping and animation. I'll be using the 360 video edits for future animation work. Here's a selection of the 360 views I selected and edited. Most recent images are posted first. Image quality varies, something I'm still working on. Edit, extra note: It looks like IG hides the emdedded images once a viewer has viewed the page at some random quota limit. I'll go through my phone and upload them directly soon.
